Thinking about anatomy, I may imagine bloodbending in the end may leave bruises, clots of blood here and there, that sensation when your limbs “fall asleep”, not to mention the heart may lose control trying to find the blood that is being bended at that moment,…

Can we take a moment to appreciate this gif right here? I know Bolin doesn’t get many lines (which, trust me, bothers me to pieces) but look at how strong and capable he is. He certainly is a powerful bender in his own right. For this age and past circumstances, he exceeds all the odds of being able to bend that well. Even though Amon compliment Mako on being a powerful bender (which is true), I believe that Bolin is just as equally powerful.
To bend earth, one must be strong, rooted, and stubborn. Earth is a hard element to move because you are literally moving the ground. But look at Bolin. He moves it as if it were so natural to him. In just two swipes of his arms, he moves all this earth to save his friends. I literally think Toph would think him to be a good student to teach advanced earthbending and metalbending.
It’s just so mesmerizing how quickly Bolin is able to pull up earth at wil. He never hesitates, always so confident in the way he moves. I’ve never once seen Bolin flicker in his doubt when he earthbends. Never. He may be light hearted and goofy but Bolin is truly an earthbender. He is a very strong person who is probably (imo) the more grounded brother (no pun intended)….(pun intended).
Sometimes I feel the fandom doesn’t take Bolin seriously, which, you know, I don’t blame with how he ended up. Yet, these moments when he’s defending the people he cares about shows just how capable Bolin is. He’s quick on his feet and knows how to defend himself.
Bolin is one hell of an earthbender. I won’t let anyone tell me any different.
He is a good bender but I think he needs a teacher to master erthbending. It might be lin, but since we know team avatar is leaving republic city for a while in book 2, he could get another earthbending teacher in the earth kingdom, maybe omashu ?
